I have installed an edge ez, and quad race box on my 06 ctd. does anyone know which module should be hooked up first, etc. and what settings would you suggest on each. thanks in advance.

 

I think it is a bad idea, but if you are going to do it I think the EZ probably needs to go into the MAP sensor first, then into us. I am pretty sure they do not do much with the MAP signal and we do so we need to see it untouched.

I am not sure on the RAIL, that is a crap shoot. I would think no more on setting 1 for us and start using low setting with the EZ.

I just really think it is not going to work very good.

any particular reason, too much timing, too much fuel, etc? i use the ez for daily driving, & turn the quad on when i want to show off. thanks again quad.

 

Is your truck an auto or 6 speed? Have you got gauges yet? Have you got an aftermarket lift pump?

I hope you have set up the foundation of your truck to support that power without tearing it up. Your signature doesn't indicate that you have. Good luck! Not trying to tell you what to do or get in your business.......I just hate to see you do something you are going to regret later with a 40K plus truck that is no longer under warranty.

 

Too much pressure. You're stacking two pressure boxes.

You'll be blowing your relief valve and risking cracking injectors.

Either get a Van Aaken C3.2 or TST with adjustable timing to stack with either module. Then you'll be able to make some power with a lot larger safety margin.

 

when are u guys going to have a timing only box available?

 

We are working on them as we speak. I don't have a hard date, but it should be early summer. Maybe sooner?

 

Sweet! After running the Edge EZ on level 4 I can really use an extra 20+hp.
