Edge Attitude and Warranty
Edge Attitude and Warranty
I bought an Edge Juice and Attitude, I'd like to know what you guys do when you take it in for work at the dealer. I realize on the Juice, it can just be unplugged, but if the Attitude is removed, you still have the pyro in the manifold, but with no gauge attached to it. Should I just mount the pyro post turbo and install a plug when I remove the pyro, or say screw it, if they have a problem, then so long warranty?! I know, "pay to play"
! I don't plan on the dealer ever seeing my truck, but you never know. Just seeing what everyone else does. Should I just sell it and get analog gauges with a different chip? Mount it post, and get a pre turbo analog gauge?
Thanks!
Nick

Yeah, I think I might just go pre turbo, and do the same thing as you. If I get other gauges later on, I might just move the Attitude's probe to post. I'd say they are less likely to see the plug post turbo, apposed to pre, but who knows.
Thanks,

Well I took it to Keith at Forest City Diesel, and he put it in pre turbo. I figure if I need to take it to the dealer I'll just install an analog pyro. He had that booger done in less than 15 minutes... I think he's done a few!
Have a good one,

I went pre-turbo and bought an egt gauge to stick in when I had to go to the ******* for something. The thing is you probably wont need to go in for anything, but if you do you can stick the gauge in.
They don't care about gauges, it's having an Attitude that they care about. If I took the Attitude and Juice off. I would have a pyro with no gauge attached to it, or a plug in the manifold, that's why I'm going to get an analog also.

Well I got everything hooked up and she's running like never before! This thing is amazing! So for anyone on the fence... do it! As for the warranty... if the probe breaks off and blows the turbo up, that's on me, but if my rear axle seal is leaking, I'm letting DC cover that! The guys at my dealership just don't want to know what was on there before it was brought in.
Well thanks for the replies!
