dynomax bullet
I have a muffler delete pipe on my truck with the cat right now. It sounds ok
but i want something a little louder. I have a couple 4" dynomax bullet mufflers laying around from another project, and was wondering if it makes any difference in sound or drone if I install it where the cat was or were the muffler delete is.
I kind of want to leave the muffler delete because it already has the hangers.
Thanks
Dustin

Lose the kitty and put on the Dynomax Bullet Race muffler. You'll be glad you did
I am running one and I really like the sound. Its not as loud as straight pipe but has a nice deep tone, plus no raspy rice burner sounds

I didn't have a cat when I purchased it since it is an 03. I am just running the stock 3 1/2" down pipe, adapted to 4". Back past the cab is where I installed the Race Muffler. Sounds pretty good.
Just installed my dynomax bullet race and removed the cat. It seems like it is quieter in the cab with this set up than a muffler delete w/cat and about the same amount of drone. It did make the sound of the exhaust a bit deeper and better sounding. Plus it smells like a diesel now
