Dyno numbers?
Dyno numbers?
Ok guys next weekend im dyno my truck, i was wondering if yall have any guesses to what i might put down, im going to try Smarty on #7 and #9 and see what it does.
What do you have for Tranny mods? That will probably hold you back some.. I am still running on my stock tranny waiting for local shop to schedule me in to upgrade mine. I had installed a TransGo shift kit myself around 30k and still am afraid on standing on the throttle on higher settings.
I was at 400hp/780tq using TST on 4/4 with stock lift pump/ tranny and no smarty. Waiting on Billet DTT and SB62 before I make another trip to dyno.
I would agree you should be in the 400+ group. Good luck and don't kill that tranny if she is still stock..

No turbo, no stix, no pressure box, are you using a beta file at least?? I'll say 350 RWHP is realistic on sw 9. Try to get a beta file if you can, that is a few more HP.
Let us all know and good luck!

The dyno isn't that hard but if you are running any of the mod or wild torque versions it just comes on so quick you can slip the tranny real easy. There is no going back once you slip the tranny.. Only repairs will bring it back.. If you do dyno on the stock tranny with smarty I would start at the lower numbers and work up to the higher you will know when you should stop.
Or even better would be to install the lock up switch so the TC will stay locked up and in high gear? I had thought about doing this before my next dyno. I wanted this switch so that I could get truck in OD and then bring the RPM back down low without worrying about the truck downshifting when I stomp on it.
