dyno numbers
Each run only takes a few seconds at full throttle but may take a minute or so. Most guys go through the gears and get it into overdrive and lock the converter and hammer down on it. Some lock out overdrive and lock the t/c and hammer down. Dynojets seem to be a little more friendly to the diesel crowd then mustang type dynos. Everyone has their opinion on what makes the most power and how to do it to me its all in the setup of the truck.
If your truck has a lift on it good luck, mine barely fit and it has stock susp. i'd call anyway to see what he says, also he said it would be easier to get a torque number on a manual. by the way do you ever go to Bristol Dragway?

I've been on a dyno with my 86 Pete.
They would run it for 5-10 min's after any motor work was done.
I have no clue as to what kind of dyno it was?
But it had it's own building.
Delaney & Ahlf in Bakersfield, Ca.
They built a mean 8V92!
