Dyno Numbers
Dyno Numbers
What are you guys seeing stock? Are they pulling close to what they are rated. I know my old Hemi truck would only pull 280ish and it's listed 340hp at motor. My SRT4 will dyno 215-220 and it listed as 215. So are they underated? My brother in-law has a new F350 and he dyno'ed at 422whp after mods. Just wondering how much I'd need to stay ahead.

Who knows what you will see if you dyno on a Mustang.

You will see the same numbers on the same Mustang. They are very reliable and work well. With each different model you will see different results. If you use a Mustang, just go back to the same one, you cannot flop around.

The 325hp/610tq rating is at the flywheel.........so there will be some driveline loss thru the tranny, driveshaft, rear axles...etc.
Don't worry though, you can turn that Cummins into a beast if you build it up right. You will have no problem smoking your brother-in-law in the F350 if you spend the money in the right areas.
