Good tranny jack is always a great help! Also if you can find someone to help you I highly suggest it!

It's pretty strait forward if you have some idea of what you are doing.

You don't need the barring tool.

Allow 3-6 hours depending on tools and experience.

lol, mine took a weekend!
I did mine basically by myself, my son only helped separate the tranny from the engine and push it back together.
Get a good tranny jack, remove the transfer case first.
My manual said to remove the tranny mount from the tranny, I found it easier to leave it on the tranny and unbolt the mount from the cross member.
It's easier to unbolt the transfer case top bolt if you remove the cross member and drop the tranny a bit to get at that top bolt, same thing for the top tranny to engine bolts, and have some l-o-n-g extensions for your ratchet.
The new flywheel is a heavy sucker, it's handy to have someone put the first couple bolts in while you hoist it into position, the shoulder of it is pretty shallow where it fits onto the crank shaft.
Raise the truck as high as possible front and back so the driveline is straight, that makes it easier to get the 2 pieces apart and back together (but I still had a helluva time with that part)
I drove the front onto ramps and used my floorjack to lift the rear and put on jackstands.

It's a big job, good luck.

It's not that bad...

Pull out your center console, access the four bolts on top of the shift tower and pull them out. Your shifter will pop out. (put it in gear before you pull it out)

4 bolts on the rear driveshaft at the diff, then slide it out of the transfer case.

4 on the front drive shaft at the xfer case, zip tie it out of the way.

disconnect the breather on the xfer case, and the wiring.
Pull the xfer case (or leave it attached if you're feeling manly)

Remove the downpipe if it's in your way (mine was, yours may not be)

Get the tranny jack in place under the tranny.

pull the crossmember

pull the bolts on the tranny

Seperate the tranny from the engine

Follow the instructions that came with your clutch on torque specs, etc. My flywheel bolts were torqued to 100, pressure plate to 45. (yours may be different). Loctite is your friend.

You should be able to figure out the rest from here. It's not too bad, just dont get in a hurry.

Install the hydraulics before the transmission is pulled all the way up. Have someone pump the clutch pedal a little as you're trying to pull the trans all the way up, and it will release pressure on the discs and allow the input shaft to find it's way alot easier.
