Dual CP3 PPE or Industrial Injection need help must order tomorrow
A dual CP3 setup does not hurt streetablity at all. If anything I would give it the edge in streetablity over a modded CP3 just because of reliabilty due to redunancy (spelling?) of two pumps. I personally know someone that drives his dual pump truck everyday. You would never know it was there till you hooked it to the sled and hit the big tune. Then hold on your going for a ride.
It doesn't cause the truck to smoke. Tuning does that. I am sold on dual pumps I cant wait to get mine.

To me a daily driver is a truck that doesn't belch tons of black smoke even with all the boxes off. With flux 3's and dual cp3's and big turbos you will smoke until the boost hits 4psi on a roll off. If you commute everyday and belch smoke over everyone....some envirofreak is gonna key your ride at the mall. I don't think you can make over 600hp and not have tons of smoke without nitrous. With the super CP3 and the stock turbo and the TST set to 38psi.... I could run all day with very little smoke. 0 to 40psi was about .5 seconds and without the tst defueling the turbo would be going through the hood. Within a year the truck belching black smoke will be pulled over and ticketed every day of the week. I hope someone comes up with a new turbo system to help us get to where we need to be. I'm gonna start working on it in January....gotta start thinking way outside the box. I want power and don't need the hassles of smoke for daily driving. ks
A 3600 dual disc will hold alot of power. The reason people get higher the plate loads are typically for sledpulling. For those that do not know: when you sledpull you slip the clutch in a pretty high gear to keep the engine rpm up and get the truck going (in a nutshell). Well the higher plate load helps lock that hot clutch face to the flywheel.
When you speak of just "holding power" a 3600 12cb should really hold way up into the 900hp area or better.
But when you decide to get stupid and start sledpulling then at that point you would need the higher plate load units.
Watch some of the videos in my signatures if you want to see some clutch slippage action at the beginning of the pulls. You'll see sparks flying off while I am intentially slipping the heck out of my clutch.

If you goin to do a single turbo II is great, but and I mean no offense here II dosen't have a good twin setup. II dosen't have a truck that can run in the 13. But everyone buys there stuff because they go out and blow the most smoke.
I saw a truck online in a video the other day that ran high 11's with one of there turbos. I ony ended up getting the silver 66 but they make the best turbos for dodge cummins.
Thank you someone who knows whats up. They make the best turbo out for 04.5+ cummins. I have not tryed there setup but from talking to everyone out there who has twins and does not like them and II makes the best single, im guessing there twins are the best to. That guy before talking about how everyone buys there stuff to smoke he has no clue.
You came in here with your mind set on EVERYTHING EXCEPT injectors...now you are changing your setup left and right because everybody else is telling you to...keep in mind, that no matter how BADARSE you make your truck today, somebody will have something crazier and stronger and faster tomorrow...Derek
I have installed the CP3.4 on our shop show truck, and it was a bit of a fighter when getting all the lines run and brackets set (Keep in mind i did this with the cab off the truck). The Power steering bracket will use one less bolt, rear timing cover needs to be changed (i think...i didnt handle that part of the build...EEP did that).......Might think of a cam change if you need to do it. BUT like said above...the ECM will need to be spaced out some, and there is a crank vent that needs to be "Adjusted" to fit. Tons of lines....looks cool and its big! haha....AND needs an oil feed....thought that was trick......its not too bad really. We have one FASS 95/180 @ 45 PSI feeding it. We put 3 miles on the thing and then it went to SEMA...and stayed in CA to get a roll cage and lowered KORE suspention.....SO dont have any romping spec on it just yet.....does run though! haha.....will update when we get it back.
Hey come on here, first off if you read back in the posts, (not taking any sides here) you will see that derek just asked blackbeast where he got all the loot and all that. Blackbeast started the name calling. Theres nothing wrong with asking what he does for a living. If blackbeast dosent want to reveal that then he can do so without name calling. I am a little confused also in blackbeasts profile it says hes a landscaper, but he just said he sells real estate. Then this all started about dual cp3s, now were down to name calling? Were here to help you guys!!! All we can do is give you our advice, if someone says his setups the best, then ill show you a guy that has a setup that can beat it. Were all after the same goal here and thats to make our trucks bigger, better, faster, last longer ect ect. We may not all agree with each other, but thats what its all about. Just getting everyones input and their experiences so YOU can make your truck better. Lets keep the posts to the subject at hand so we can help you make your truck better!!!
