Arrived today. Have not done EGT yet- holding out for a quadzilla scout- they are just getting on the market.
Surprising about how small the module is.
Sorry about the bad photo quality...

It works. Pushed it a bit in 3rd and 4th, now it feels like my brother's 05 3/4 ton Duramax. Went through 3rd in the blink of an eye and into redline before I could get out of it, almost as quickly through 4th, caught and passed the car that left the light in front of me, left them in a cloud of diesel smoke.
then I topped off the tank so I can hand calculate the next tank. This last tank was right at 20 mpg hand calculated. We shall see..
I called the Dr. Performance folks yesterday, spoke to the fellow who seemed to be the head honcho. Asked first about the small 6 pin connector (2 rows of 3) that was in the middle of the module. no place to plug it. he explained that was a diagnostic port.
I then asked what the default setting was if I did not connect the yellow wire for the switching to other levels setting. He said default is the high setting (110 hp, 220 torque). If I wire it with the switch I can access the middle setting. It is just to mellow the power delivery at higher RPM's he said. The 3rd setting is to factory level.
He said it was fine to just not connect yellow wire, even for towing. I mentioned the orange wire which can be hooked to accept a high EGT signal to defuel. He felt using that option was not necessary based on the design of the module. But I will not take a chance and will get the Quadzilla scout soon and install EGT probe pre- turbo for the pyrometer function.
Meanwhile I will not push my luck and will just run a tankful through to hand calcualte fuel economy.
He also said the limit of the module is rail pressure of 26,500. Isn't stock 24k or so? He also said the stock relief valve blows at 28k
Overhead reads about 2 mpg higher than before. But the first couple minutes/miles it read about 12 mpg high. then back to more realistic figure after first shutdown and restart. I will report mpg after running through this tank.
