Don, I need your opinion on my injector selection.

So the time has come my new twins have arrived and work is about to be underway. The turbos are the exact same as Tim's. It has twin pumps both with the bag of parts mod from I.I, helix2, springs, race ported head from Michael at Hotrod Diesels, ZZ's side flow intake manifold, and a mitusa gusher. The truck is an '05 how big should we go on the fluxes???

I just talked to Tim about injectors for my truck and he told me the max you should put on an 04.5+ is a 4.3. He said there wasn't much gain over these injectors.

Go with 6.2s then. From the people that have them say they drive better then a 5 series one. Also with us being at sea level its a different ball game then the notherners

If you are running the turbos I am, Maybe 5.1s. my 06 with only a 64/80 did not make much different power going from 4.3s to 5.1s We recently tested 6.5s on a 05 with slightly smaller twins than mine(71/88) and there was very little difference from 5.1s to 6.5s. 4.3s are a very good stick for big power 04.5-07 and still gives adjustability with electronics. Also on the 05 with flux 6.5s the smarty had to be turned down to sw5 to get the max power. So going real big on injectors in 600 series motors takes away electronic power and adjustability. Right now if you have a 555 motor flux 6s or 7s even but 600 motor use 4-5s. Tim
