DIY CP3 upgrade is it worth it?

i was wondering for those of you that have upgraded your cp3 by yourself if it was worth it? what are the down falls and what are the benefits to this mod? obviously higher rail pressure but is the mod worth it? also how did it affect your fuel mileage thanks guys

The mod was worth it to me. To see the difference you have to be on the cusp anyway. The only downfall is if you are not really careful you can bugger your FCA easy and buy a new one. It will not affect fuel mileage one bit. Also it does not per se give you higher rail pressure. That is commanded by the ecm. The mod only lets you be better able to maintain that commanded rail pressure.

10 4 i might get a new fca and just mod it that way. what kind of sandpaper did you use i have some 400 grit is that enough? also what size drill bits did you use if you remember? for the plug and holes in the plate.
