I actually did it on two trucks. One was an 03 SO Auto with an EZ/BHAF/Straight pipe and the other was a bone stock 05 with the G56 6 spd. I ground the dowel pin out and rotated the thing clock wise until the bolts stopped it.

On the 03 we noticed considerably less smoke coming out of the tail pipe. I mean this thing went from a small cloud to a barely noticeable puff. This to me means that it's burning the fuel more efficiently. This truck is also running on 37" tires so it's kinda hard to tell a small gain on the bottom end. The engine does seem to run smoother though. Time will tell with the mileage.

On the 05 we didn't notice much of anything at all. I will say this though, those 610 engines are FAST and that G56 tranny is very short. I've never seen a truck with such a short throw. I'm kinda scared to race one of these trucks now.

I just thought I'd let yall know what my results were. I'm gonna try and do it to another friends 04 HO but I've gotta convince her first that it ain't gonna void her warranty. Women.
