Diablo Sport Slipping Transmission and A few Other ????'s

I was wondering if anyone can give me the signs of a slipping transmission????? Also I noticed that the Diablo Sport Predator raises the rev limit...... Is this bad for the truck???? What is the safest maximum rpm??????
Also I am keeping it on the 100hp economy setting can this harm the stock auto???? I do zero towing with it in........

A little late for that now......you can always get the trans done and put the 100hp tune back in

I was wondering the same thing. What exactly does a slipped tranny feel like or what are the signs that you have too much power for the tranny to handle??? I thought my tranny was slipping when I did a 10psi boosted launch in the 100hp performance tune cause I didnt feel the tires spin out but when I looked back there was a set of nice black burn out lines.???

You know a tranny is slipping when you take off from a stop light and as it shifts through the gears it doesn't engage in the next gear crisply (depends also if you have shift kit). As it shifts from say 1-2nd the rpms will continue to rise after its shifted, then it will catch and drop down a bit. Make sense? Or if you tranny is really bad, when stomp on the go pedal the engine will rev really high but your barely moving, then when you get outta the pedal a bit it takes off. Plus you might smell a little burning...hope that helps.

Your engine stock would rev to 3500 rpm but the predator does raise that to 3650.

Every third gen I've seen would rev to 3500 at least under no load.

The chances of the clutches in your tranny slipping are pretty minimal unless you have huge power. 100hp increase, however, will slip some stock TC. Get up to 60-70mph in OD. Give it about 2/3 throttle, but not enough to unlock the TC. The rpms should gradualll increase only a little in proportion to the increase in speed. If the rpms rise quicly at all, it is the TC slipping.

My gears are shifting great so far. Really smooth actually. Better than stock without the predator. I guess my tranny is holding up so far. I just thought my tires would spin more off the line. What else would be stopping the tires from breaking free? How do you sit there & make your tires smoke??

Your not spining because of tq management and lack of power. hold your break down to the point where it wont go forward and slowly get into the throttle while still holding your break, you might have to let out/push in on the break more or less as it starts to burn em.
