Boss asked me to look into deleting his 08(?)- has the 5.9 yet I think- 6 spd auto- drug an empty flatbed 5 hours, put on a 14 ft blade, and got 10 MPG on the round trip, guess-o-meter said 12 1/2.

What tuner would need to be used to do it?

Not after more power just better fuel mileage.

 

08' has the 6.7 with 6 speed auto or manual. Deletes, I doubt it. EPA has cracked the whip and levied some step fines.

He calls it an 08, think he said it's got the 5.9, but it does have the 6 spd auto. I quit paying much attention to the newer stuff a wile ago.

 

The 5.9 doesn't have the EGR. only 6.7l. If it is a 6.7 look into EFI live. Can do a delete kit with all types of custom tunes

 

Six speed auto = 6.7 only
