DDP Injector Opinions

I have a stock auto 04. Wanting to bomb it too. Actually wifes, so looks come first (lift tires rims). Anyway I want to step up the power some. Has a lot of warranty left, so a programmer isn't really a option right now. Thought about some of DDP's injectors. It would be hard for the dealer to void my warranty by slipping some of those nozzles in. Question is: Should I get the 50hp or 90hp? Don't have gauges, (kinda leaning toward a moniter style programmer later) so I don't really want to gagues if I can get away with it. I know with the 90hp nozzles I'll need a pyro, so would 50hp be a waste for later bombing with a programmer or is the 50's going to do fine. Basically I don't want to do any redundant bombing, trying to look ahead.

I've had the 90's for over 20,000 miles and really like them. I don't run gauges. Yes, I know I should.. People don't expect it to be quick at the strip at all.. Kinda fun..

Depends on what you are going to do with it, if you are going to pull anything much, I would go with 50's, if no pulling go with the 90's, but you will notice your fuel mileage go down with those babies.

Here's a good article that will make you think about injector size:

couple things you might not have thought about. 1 is the stock injectors tend to carbon up if the truck doesnt work that hard. The honed tips tend to run a ton smoother at all rpm but you really notice it at idle when its cold out. My truck runs as smooth as a gas engine maybe smoother. The power is much smoother than a box and it is more linear as well. that being said my truck runs well with the Quad box off but it seems like it has a ton more power on the bottom end even on the 30 Hp setting. If your not after huge power go witht the 50HP tips then add an adjustable box w monitor. that way you have tons of power and its still safe and usable in almost all situations.2 if ya get into the 90 hp tips then add in a box your goin to need a turbo and fuel system to make it usable so if those mods are not in your plans then stick with the 50s.

They don't list them, but if you call them direct and ask, they will set you up with some that split the two. 70hp units like mine are the perfect idea when you can't decide on which size you want.
