Anyone know what wire I need to tap into to get my gauge lights on my dash light fader? Somewhere I read it is the orange and white wire, but I want to make sure before I go tapping in to the wrong one.

 

It's an orange wire with a brown trace. There are two of them going to your headlight switch. Use a test light or a meter. The light will get dimmer/brighter depending on how you move the dimmer switch.
Take off the small side panel on the dash. It provides easy access to all the wires you need.
