Cummins Mud Flaps

I have had the Cummins mud flaps on for 2 weeks now and I highly recommend them ........... look awesome and the price is sweet too . Made out of a pretty thick plastic material ... not rigid but enough flex to do the job , look really cool with the blue Cummins logo and the Ram head . Wish they were a bit wider on the tires but I can live with it . I would put up some pics but my little angels put the digital camera through some destructive testing and it failed .

Are they a molded flap like the Mopar ones or all flat? Anyone with a pic?

Yeah, I like'em! I'll try to remember and take a shot tonight of them. They are the flat ones. I had the molded Dodge ones on my previous Ram and almost pooped a brick when I took them off. They rubbed in to the paint real good. If you use the molded one, I recommend you use 3M body protective film along the molded fitting. But, I think it might eventually rub a hole through it too.

I bought some 14" wide mudflaps (air hawks if I remember correctily) and put some Cummins decals on them.

I got pictures at TDR http://www.turbodieselregister.com/u...laygallery.php

These are also available from the Cummins Powerstore.

They are the smaller of the two sizes they offer,
still had to trim them down both width and height to get them to fit.

Still need to fab up an anti sail weight or stiffener to keep the right one out of the tailpipe.

I have a set(4) of the Cummins Mud Flaps that I decided not to use. Let me know if anyone is interested. They are from the Cummins Power Store as above.

Instead I added Cummins Turbo Diesel Badge to my Huskys.

RamWheels, do yo uhave a side view pic of your truck with the flaps? I've very seriously thinking about getting a set of the moulded ones. I'd like to see them on a truck first. Dodge dealership wants $39 for 2.

Also, I noticed that you had 315 BFG. I have those same tires as well. Do these flaps provide ample coverage for those tires? I'm getting tired of all the rocks the BFG like to throw up on the sides.

I don't have a side view that shows the mud flaps very well. Here is another pic.

They seem to keep most of the rocks and things that come off the BFGs off of the truck. They could be a little bigger for the 315s, but I am satisfied.

Ram, you have alot of things that I want to get on my truck. I want the Rancho's, the Steering Stabilizer, Autometer guages, leveling kit, etc.

On a side note, did you get the single or dual steering stabilizer? I'm looking at the SkyJacker dual stabilizers for $94. I still have vibration in my steering wheel, and I think its the 315. I have a HARD time getting them to balance, and there is alot of vibration in the steering wheel. I'm thinking better steering stabilizer will work.

Also, could you get a picture taken directly in back of the tire, so I can see how much of the tire extends past the mud flap. Both your pictures are at an angle.
