CTD 600 AFE intakes....Old ones work?

CTD 600 AFE intakes....Old ones work?
Anyone got an intake or made the current AFE intake work on their 600 yet? We have not see one 600 here yet and wonder if the older AFE intake works or not. Thanks!

AFE was supposed to be redesigning the the air box for the 3rd gens so it will work on all models. The original design was a little too tall for the 600's. I haven't heard if they are shipping the new ones yet.

the handfull of 600's i have seen, look like they have a larger Fan shroud on them. I just have heard some can make it work and some cant. but i did hear AFE is making a kit for it.....but that is a whole differant story!!! (2 weeks to 2 month release!!!! which is it!)

The old ones fit .. but you must remove the hood insulation ... I took mine out and there was no noticable increase to me anyways ... but I'm half deaf .... I've been told the new AFE's modified for the 04.5's is still a month out ... but that could be rumor ...
