Getting my AFE proguard 7 intake system tomorrow, (woowhoo) what should I expect to see in performance gains and egt levels. Got a power box coming thursday or friday also.

 

I dont really know if you will see any power gains. By itself it may help reduce EGTs a small amount, but also need high flow muffler or strait pipe to reduce EGTs enough to notice. The turbo will spool a little quicker and you will hear it a little more.

Just my experience with mine, I added it first and then the Banks Exhaust and then the performance box.

NOW my Juice w/Attitude is a whole different story and that is why you need the AFE air intake.

 

I just installed the AFE Pro-7 Replacement filter.....right away my egt's droped more than 300 degrees, my turbo boost doubled and it dynoed in at 635 RWHP and 999 FT LBS of Torque!

No, not really.

I bought it because I like having a reusable filter I can clean regularly and IMHO, AFE has impressive stats over the competition when it comes to filteration.

I'm going to bore holes in my airbox and hood to allow more cold air in........stand by for result.

 

I saw a about 75oF drop in egt's, under full load.
