Crud!!! Edge juice troubles.....

My juice with attitude has problems. The egt readout reads 1000 degrees at idle and 1500 going 35 mph. Of course it backs down and i get the annoying alarm. Has anyone had this happen? Is there a way to reset it? It will be pain to uninstall it and send it back. CRUD!! I had the BDDL on last my last cummins maybe i should go back. Are the programmers more reliable? Any tips on plugging the egt probe while it goes back? Thanks

I have not had any trouble w/ mine, when you hooked up your pyro you didn't get the wires crossed at the harness did you? just a suggestion.

I had the same problem. I called Edge and went through a procedure (disconnecting the pyrometer) that they told me to do over the phone. I told them what the Attitude said without the pryo on. Anyhow, they sent me a new pyrometer. I figured it would be a least a week for the new pyro to get to me so I reconnected the old one. Worked fine after that. Never put the new pyro on even after it came in the mail. About 1-1.5 months later though, the Level setting in the upper right corner of the Attitude would change from whatever level I had it set on down to 0 (stock) and back again!!! All by itself!!! Called Edge and they sent me a new box for under the hood. It got here about 3 weeks ago, I installed it and all is fine now. I think both problems were Juice related and not Attitude related. Give them a call>

Bigman,

Take it off...send it back. You wanted the Hot Juice update anyways!

They will take care of you.

had the same problem. level would change back and forth on its own. leave the probe where it is, or install 1/8 npt plug. copper anti-sieze is also a good idea. good up to 1800 F

It will jump as much as 1000* at times and is never consistant..........guess it's time to call edge and make them fix the dang thing!!!
