Ever since I upgraded my Triple Dog, I have been chasing a lower than normal boost level problem. I had a very old program before and I could hit 55-60lbs (wastegate setting) easy. Now I can only hit it on the highway at 65mph or more. At 55 up a hill Im only hiting 40, so something isnt right. I spent some time and checked all my connections, and plumbing to no avail, no boost leak. The new 2.3.8 must not fuel as hard.

So does anyone have an older crazy Larry program that you could e-mail. And also tell me how to load it in my triple dog as Im not that bright. Thanks Rye.

you could always get it updated for 50$ to the scary larry. I do have the 2.3.1 though.

 

scary larry doesn't do anything on 06's....we tried sunday. its just like Crazy Larry.

ECM experts do not advise going backwards with version numbers for technical reasons, but its been done time and time again without issues.

 

Yeah i just replied to another thread about the scarry larry 97360. Isnt the 2.3.1 the same thing as the 2.3.0?

 

umm I don't know. I was emailed 2.3.0 a while back and saved it on email.

on 06? cool. Maybe my test rat couldn't feel the 40hp? i don't know. I went for the test ride with him....he said it was no different.

i know its not like an 05 where there is a noticeable difference.

 

Disconnect your Outlook monitor and I bet your truck will run right.

 

So the new version of of the tripledog 2.3.8 doesnt fuel as hard as the older programs? If thats the case can someone help me out with getting the older versions that are better

i upgraded to the 2.3.8 and it helped my truck, low end power is better, to me its the best program yet? boost is the same and its much more responsive? Wes

 

RyeThomas I dont know what your problems is with yours but it the best thing thats happened to mine. Im like you though i bet they just cut the fuel back because my EGTs got up there FAST! new program dosent do it near as bad.THEN AGAIN IM RUNNEN THE STOCK TURBO! Why cant you run the SCarry larry on the 06 trucks? only thing they changed less fueses went to a busblock. CAN SOME ONE ANSER THAT!

 

Yah I dont know whats up with my truck, looks to be a nice weekend I may have to pull the twins, recheck all the boots, and do some testing with and withou the Outlook, and Quad Boost fooler. Only problem without the Quad is my engine light comes on (overboost) and my truck defules. I dont know whats up but something isnt right, with my cam and BD twins my wastegate used to get a workout even at slow speeds. Now I rarley hear it.
