Keep that head and Port it out. Its not that hard to do it just takes lots of time. Go slow and try to get each runner as close to the last one as you can. It makes a huge difference. I did set of Harley heads and that bike made awsome power for the little bit of $$$ we spent building the engine.

 

I just dropped a valve seat on my 03 head but it didnt have any cracks in it..
So I just got a 06 head and we port and polished it and I put stiffer valve springs

 

What are you guys doing with the junk heads? If some one is some what close i would like to port one! Would like to use a junk head first so i cant screw anything up. Ported a few small block heads back in high school but never one of these. They were not that hard can't see one of these being to diffrent.
