Where is the best place to get a CP3 for a 04.5.
preferably new. Just bought new fca, gear pump so I really don't need those

 

one will run you around $1100 through your local Cummins dealer.

 

Mine blew the plugs out of the sides. So i need one

 

give it a little while and check back as there's several CP3 builder that post here on the forum. You may be able to have it rebuilt rather than having to purchase a new one.

That's a first I've heard of plugs blowing on one. How do you think that happen ?

 

the stupid check ball on the high pressure fitting fell out and I didn't notice it.

 

I called my local Recycled Parts dealer and got one off an 07 5.9 with low miles for $400 w/the FCA.

 

What are you doing with the one that blew out the sides? Any word on what it would cost to rebuild it? PM I might be interested!
