I'm glad you asked that, because I want to know also.

Who or what companies are doing the mods and how much does it cost for the stage1 and stage2.

What is the normal turn-around time to get a pump modded?

I'd also like to know. I think(key word) that Stage 1 is 400-600 hp, then 2 is 600-800, but I am not sure, and I know it differs between companies

 

ATS Diesel makes a "hot" CP3 that will supposedly "easily handle over 600HP". I will be ordering one soon (if necessary) and they said the turn around time is similar to that of their fire ringing of the head gasket. They take yours (2 days to get to them), the mod it (2 days) and then send it back to you (2 days to get to you) so basically one week from when you send it, you should have it back. From what they told me, it is a modification that should be done LAST after all others are done for you may not even need it and it is EXPENSIVE, like $2500 AFTER the CORE refund!!!

 

Floor it diesel does a stages 1 thru 3 pumps, stage one is around $1000 plus core. I am not sure how much it would be if you sent yours in (I am thinking about doing that too to avoid a core chg) I do know that the pumps that come in as cores (or yours) are rebuilt to stock specifications, tested to make sure it is good, and then modded and tested again.

Relentless also has a kit but it doesn't modify the CP3, it just speeds it up with a different gearcase and gears on the front of the engine.
