Coolingmist Smart Injection controller
Coolingmist Smart Injection controller
Check this thing out. (big file 40 pages PDF) http://www.coolingmist.net/instructi...tinjection.pdf
This thing looks awesome! I like the feature that you can set up 3 different LED's to come on with EGT. I think it would take a while to get it configured right but I like the adjustability of it. I dont know if it could read from the engine position sensor or not, but if it could, you could have a shift light.
I am going to call Larry a little later and see if he can get one for me.

That depends on the amount of methanol in the mixture. Water alone won't add much power, but it will allow you to run more fuel (and thus make more power). Methanol will add HP and it's common to see a 70+hp gain with 40-50% concentrations, but it also increases cylinder pressures and can/will pop head gaskets.
I didnt realize earlier that the EGT controller in the kit for diesels was the same thing as their Smart Injection controller. I really like the features of it and with the laptop it also gives me one more thing to mess with going down the road
I figure I could get the unit to lock the converter for me at WOT, and turn on a light to notify lockup. At the same time it will ramp water starting at 15PSI up to 40 PSI achieving full output at any value over 1100*.
As well I was thinking of a PRE-CAC 50-70 HP shot of N2O. It would combine the inputs of 15# boost + WOT. If both inputs are met it will engage.
I would also like to figure out how to monitor the trans temp, and based on a value of voltage on the gauge input it will spray the trans cooler with a low shot of N2O.

I wanted to get it but ended up getting the vari-cool controller. I figured it would be easier to just have the ***** in the cab to play with rather than reprogramming a ECM every time.
