I have purchased a Triple Dog for my '06 CTD and would like a controller for it. I have contacted Bullydog for the Outlook but it won't be avaliable for up to two months. I have just seen the Quadzilla Commander and wondered if it will work in this application and how well. Or should I just wait to get the outlook module? Any suggestions or comments would help.

 

If you are looking to de-fuel the triple dog, then the Commander will not work. WE do not claim to be able to de-fuel and programmer for any vehicle at this time. The Outlook does claim to do this, but I am not sure how it works exactly.

If that is not your concern then the Commander has a whole lot more function to it.

 

I am new to the Diesel Performance area so I am not sure exactly what defueling does other than just be set at a desired level to cut back on fuel to engine. Is that close to what defueling is. My truck will never haul anything heavier than a vehicle on atrailer for not very far and many loads of fire wood. Maybe 10K Lbs. at most I would guess. It will be for playing the most and to have a Diesel finally mostly is why I bought the truck. I will add more stuff I think as I become more educated on effects of each mod.
