Snapoff, (I think it's Jamie?),
What do you think caused the problem to your engine? Too much N20?
I asked the same question on the BD Abbotsford forums.
I'm sorry it came apart on you. Good luck with the rebuild.

thanks guys....trip was a blast. Nathan is a good dude and took very good care of us.
There is no doubt in my mind that the truck will hit 1k once the tuning allows this to happen.
I will run 6.5's or 7's on the street. I can handle the smoke with my 6 speed..
My truck is off loaded and on the hoist for some minor adjustments....well OK my rear brakes need looked at!

All 6 cylinders show piston contact (extreme heat caused the pistons to grow enough to touch the bore).
#5 stuck in the bore and ripped the (forged/blueprinted/x-ray'd) connecting rod off.
This motor never saw more nitrous than 30% of a 80hp jet...Things just were not working well enough to get into serious nitrous development.
I will stay with BD as long as they show interest and support this project.
Sorry to derail your thread Rob.

Marco?
We seemed to of found a wall in programming. We tried the Smarty, Smarty and TST, and just the TST. We also tried all of the above with and without a MP-8 and Predator. The Smarty on Level 3 and 5.1's made 701hp uncorrected. With 6.5's it made 738hp and with the MP-8 it made 858hp. We were able to get to 878hp uncorrected (930hp corrected) but no matter what we tried it wouldn't go past that. Rail pressure held 25k plus and egt's only got above 1200* with the TST. The fueling falls off right around 3300rpms even though it will turn 4000. The exhaust goes totally clean when it hits 3300. It's gaining 50hp every 100rpms prior to defuel. So now we need Marco's help to get it to fully fuel to 4000. I think this is why no one is making over about 900hp on fuel with a 04.5 and up truck.

Hey Rob,
You still thinking about another ecm, or are you just going to wait for some sort of stand alone product?
In the end it just might be cheaper to buy an '03...I'm seriously thinking about doing just that....
I bought an '08 6.7 for a new employee. The couldn't decide whether he or the truck were more of a dog.
The new guy inevitably solved my dilemma by firing himself....Now I just have a slow daily driver to contend with!
PS.
Happy New Year!
