Does anyone know of a nother site to download the updates for Quad Commander. I have called 3x today and still waiting for a call back. Need the updated version for the commander 1.4.3. Love the program hate the customer service. I have nothing but problems since I installed the fuel pressure setup.

After you down load and your promted to connect the commander the screen changes. no commander found. This thing was working just fine for a few months, All of the values are off egt937,bst 39,fuel psi 100, tranny 104 like normal. The screen continues to change as if the unit was defueling.

PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the 1.4.3 file. I have it saved on my PC from when I updated last month.

Have you updated before?

Are the values you are seeing when your commander is hooked to your PC or when it is installed in your truck. If you are seeing these values in your truck it is probably a ground issue. Make sure your ground wire has not become worn through somewhere.

Do you have the .net framework installed?

Did you follow the instructions on the site to a T? If you do not get the drivers installed it will not every find the Commander. It does this automatically but, you have to make sure it does it before you connect the Commander.

When prompted by windows to install the drivers did you let it? Did it say installing drivers for Quadzilla Commander?

What operating system are you working with?

Also, what time did you call and who did you speak with? If I have this info I can correct the problem.

Move your ground to a sure fire ground location. Only thing making me believe this might be an issue is that 3 of the 4 are acting totally stupid. They are not reading min or max so it seems like they are "floating" which might be a ground???

It would be worth a quick try anyhow.

Well, a test light does not indicate an actual ground. Pretty much anything that is not powered will light a test light. Ground is a pretty weird thing. This is why the gauge can power and run without a proper ground but, the readings could be off. What you are connected to is a ground but, it is not a real ground most likely.

Here is the problem and why this is important. The thermocouple has to have a proper ground in order to read correctly as it produces a signal based on tiny signal it creates as a resistance to ground. Then we have to take this signal and then run it to ground again to produce a reading.

It is pretty complicated actually and tough for me to explain.

So at this point this is all I know to try and the next step is to send it to us.

Has the Commander ever worked? How long have you had it? Did it just randomly do this?

Any info you can give me is really helpful in diagnosing this.

I will hook the ground lead to the neg. post of the battery. I purchase the Commander and ZXT from Autoanything in March of this year it has been working flawless all this time. A week or so ago I ordered the fuel pressure and rail pressure setup and installed a FASS 150 which is grounded to the same bolt on the fender with the large grounding strap which is working properly. The problem started with trying to update the commander due to a approx. 10 lbs. difference between the commander and a mechanical pressure gauge. I have unplugged the pressure harness and turned off the sensors and the gauge still acts up. I brazed a tab onto a brass T and bolted the pressure sender strait to the frame being that I am running all 3/8 push lock hose. I am Lost. I spent alot of time yesterday with Jeremy yesterday on the phone working on getting this update completed. I appreciate the help that I recieved from your staff. If I can not get this figured out I will send it in for your staff to look at.Do you want all the cables?

Grounded the unit at the battery, installed d/e grease on the connectors still not working properly. I guess all I can do is send the unit back and let the tech's work on it.
