Commander mounting option
Commander mounting option
I didn't want my Commander above the dash so I came up with my own mount. I think it turned out pretty clean.
It's just a piece of lexan sheet cut and shaped with a dremel to fit. Then painted and used double stick tape to mount it. It holds real solid. I had to bend the lexan a bit to fit the shape of the dash better. Put it in the oven at 275-300 and it will bend easily. Careful, it only takes a little.
I ran the wire right through the vent, put a little notch on the inside for it to get out and through the hole where the headlight switch is.
Anyway.. it was easy and cheap. Only had a chance to play with the Commander a little bit, but so far I like it
