I finally broke down and ordered the pillar w/speaker mount for the Commander, even though the photos make it look as though the unit would be suspended halfway between the top of the windshield and the dash. Well I am very happy to report that the photos are misleading. The pillar actually puts the Commander just above the dash. AWSOME! It looks great and like a factory option. I have only test fit it so far as my Commader has not arrived yet due to high demand. DTR and Quadzilla really should post photos of an installed unit on thier web sites as the photos of the pillar mount by itself is very misleading, and does not do the mount justice.

NOW IF MY COMMANDER UNIT WILL JUST GET HERE.
