i am wanting to remove the chrome off the bottom of foot or so of truck and spray truck with that bed linner. any suggestions on how to remove it? think it is stuck on with two sidded tape. also, what kinda prep work should i do befor using bed linner spray on?

I used a screwdriver to get it started then started to pul slowleyl with a plyers. It takes quite a bit to get it off. Just take your time and pull dont jerk. Once I got all the chrome off I used a 3M eraser wheel to get all the tape off. It took a fair amount of time but I like the look better

 

Might try the fishing line method. Use the line as a saw to cut through the adhesive then use either the Eraser wheel or Goof Off and a rag.
