Eeek. Would chroming plastic hold up? You would think the plastic expanding and contracting from the heat would crack the chrome in short order.

Would chroming plastic hold up

Grilles, headlight surrounds etc have been done this way for a long time. On my 01 dodge I hit a little bird on the highway at -40°, cracked the plastic underneath but not the chrome. It held up for another year before I traded it, it's probably still fine.

why do E-bay pics not show in Netscape?
had that happen on lots of pages.

anyways, my valve cover has lost ~80% of it paint/lettering.

The seller for that part is Jesse from profinish he is a member of the NW bombers and has a sweet 3rd gen also. His work is second to none... Look at the links of some of his work..

ask him to list some more with a fair buy-it-now price!

the thing i like about that cover is that it's smooth, the logo appears to have been sanded off. a cummins turbo diesel fender emblem would look great on it.
