Unhappy Canadian stack?

Hey guys,

Just wondering If anyone knows any good Modifications dealers in Canada, preferably Alberta.

I was looking at the FTE single stack kits. Looked like some good stuff, so after I check out , it asks for my ZIP code. huh. They only ship to USA I guess. but anyways, does anyone here know where to get single kits or just how to get FTE to ship to Canada?

Hope I'm not the only Canadian here haha

where in AB? come to the AB chapter we'll fix you up.

its kind of weird actually the AB chapter here is more active by double almost any other chapter. and you'd think a TX chapter with 10 times the population would talk circles around a handful of Alberta rednecks Oh well.

and you don't need to buy a kit. For about $200 canadian I bought most of my parts and stack new from Peterbilt in Calgary and some 5" flex pipe from Traction HD supply. install in my driveway in a couple hours, good to go.

I live Just Outside of Lacombe, 30 Min from Red Deer. They have a Peterbilt there. So I looked at the online Catalog. Really Confusing. Did you just stop by and talk to a salesman? they probably know what I need. Also, Do You know where I could buy a Programmer? any stores in Alberta?

Thanks!

nanananana forget about nadp ....... go see Donovan @ Armor Inc. #106, 6439-67st Red Deer

I didn't really use a catalogue, I'm a HD mechanic I work for the detroit dealer right beside the Pete dealer here in calgary. I just kinda walked in and told them what I wanted and walked out. I used the dimensions that i wanted and the parts guy got the right numbers.

but seriously Go get Donovan to hook you up, in Red deer.

Peak Diesel in BC is good too. But now I'm from Saskatchewan. A lot more people and $$$ in AB. Don't always listen to the salesman. In my early diesel modding days I did that and I wasted money and broke things. Bounce stuff off the guys on the discussion forums.

I am not saying this is true about them, Some shops would rather make a quick sale then sell you something that will work and/or not break your truck. I have got the line "well if you are wanting that then you need this". Do your own research and then buy what you need. Don't rush into things. I've wasted money and time because I didn't read enough or ask enough questions.

I'll second Peak Diesel in BC.

Harry is one of the classiest people out there and won't do wrong by you. Even if he doesn't have what you want, he'll go out of his way to help you get it.

I gotta give Kevin a call and see how is new BB twins are treating him...

For all you AB guys, I miss the Edmonton and Cold Lake days... You guys really know how to makes us GI's feel welcome. I especially like the time we were waiting in the car rental lounge at the Edmanton airport. The car rental gal apologized for the wait and kept feeding us Labatt's until our car was ready!
