can i put a quad power mod with no air pipes
can i put a quad power mod with no air pipes
thinking about puting a quad power mod on but would like to stay with factory air intake
, not totally against an exhaust though I work in dirty conditions and don't think i would be as faithful at cleaning an aftermarket filter, is there much danger in burning up a turbo or tranny without guages, 2005 truck (sorry i'm one of the new guys with dumb questions)

You can use the factory intake & exhaust, but you will most likely see your filter minder getting pulled down. I would not recommend running upgrades without gauges - I am stock and run EGT, Boost, & Trans Temp. Not only do they help you now what is happening with your truck, they look cool. I used ISSPRO in the cubby hole. I don't think you can add a better mod than a good set of gauges.
If you drive sensibly you should be OK. Which box are you looking at? The Tow Box would be a definite yes. the STD and Race boxes would be fine on the low or middle settings. I wouldn't turn them on the higher settings and drive like a maniac everyday without at least a pyro guage......
