Sorry to hijack, about what does a cam install cost? not the cam but the install.

It costs about $700 bucks to install the cam.

Does it really clean the oil up that much? The cam and springs are finally at a decent price. I would just dread the install. Definately would do it myself. It would sit on the toolbox for over a month before i got around to installing it...LOL

it does and you do not need new lifters or springs, and spooler you need to go back to oem on your air cleaner

Who's cams are regrinds? F1 is from a new blank. Maxspool and PDR are reground stock cams I think. Are people running these in the 6.7's or are they different?

Carl is the pdr the only cam you have tried? Do you do alot of start and stop with your rigs or are they ran at a consistent rpm for long periods of time?

Yuck to regrinds...

I want the lightest spring and a "resonable" ramp rate to maintain the longevity of my Cummins.

With F1...you get exactley that for miles and miles and miles and miles.
