thanks guys ,not many people out there i guess just doing my research online i found it to produce some of the biggest numbers and milage and had never heard of the smarty. The power is insain but the best milage is when stacked with my little ez box, milage at least on 155hp is the same as stock for me 18-18.5. but with the ez added 21+ no problem. but i need a clutch to realil feel the power soon as it comes in its own puffff. clutch lets loose o well . i wish more people could talk PPE with me and their experiences with this power to the ground!

I`ve got the TST and was running the PPE on tow setting , but recently took it out (the PPE) as I`m thinking of getting a mega cab. It did run better with the PPE in it , much more throttle response than with the TST by itself.

It has the HOT option, but I`ve never tried it , I`m sure without more fuel , it wouldn`t do much more than the TST alone....

I did like it , and it was on the 155 setting for a while. To be honest it made too much smoke for me , for daily driving. I would smoke out people that I wasn`t trying to smoke out....kind of made me look like an a s s . I

The only thing I didn`t like about it was it would take quite a few cycles of the key/engine , to get rid of some of the idiot lights in the dash. I even went so far as calling PPE tech line , and they assured me it was normal , and not to worry...?

It`s the only downloader I`ve ever had , so I don`t know if it`s a common thing or not.

interesting, what lights on the dash, did what , i have never noticed anything diff. with any dash lights. are you talking check engine lights or codes ,havent had those prob. either, its good to hear from someone other than me with this programmer to hear the goods and the bads,i think ill remove the ez and program in the 215 hp for a tank and see what the milage does.

My parking brake light and air bag light were both on for a while this time (when I removed it).

When I put it on , or changed the settings , just the brake light was lit for a half hour or so.

Again ....I was told this was "normal"? from PPE...and they DID go out after more than "several" key cycles.

PPE is the best thing I have tried since I bought the truck and went through the course or trying several boxs and downloaders.
DR P stage 3 is my stack and it give good mileage and plenty of smoke when you want it.

I have had an upgraded clutch before I installed the PPE and the Dr P stack but I have had no slippage.

I pull with the 155 HP PPE setting and 50 HP Dr P setting on a 14K 5ver with no slippage with a SB Con OFE.

Pulling 75 mph I get 7-8 miles per gallon but unloaded I average 15-17 mpg. Before ULSD and PPE I was getting 17-19 with other electronics.

I have had the HTT super stocker 62 for year now and up till I used the PPE the turbo never worked the way I wanted it to but after installing the PPE I am reall impressed with the turbo and how it spools and cools under a load. When before I could hit 1400 when hitting hills in north texas and falling to 60-65mph and after PPE download I can do those same hills at 70-75mph at 1300 max.

This was a big difference on how much usable power the truck had and how good the turbo started working. The greastest thing was I never downshifted once when before PPE I would have to hit 5th gear evevy now and then.

I have been taking this trip on this same road for the last 5 year to the same refineres in north texas so comparison was pretty simple..
