c series CP3 pump off of 8.3 on b series motor?

c series CP3 pump off of 8.3 on b series motor?
i've heard from a couple people that the CP3 pump off of a C series cummins has the fuel supply for the application and will fit in stock location. is this true and if not how much and what will i have to change to make it work?
