bully dog vs edge w/attitude
switched from the Edge with A to the bullydog and autometer gauges. The bullydog makes a ton more power and smoke but I think that the edge is safer if all you want is a cheap power and NOTHING more.
The Edge with supporting mods will get you upto 600-700 HP. With a simple stack you can get 475-500 to the ground. It is a lot more potent than people who dont have them realize. It is very smooth at the higher levels also, I highly recomend it.

Running the juice, and love it. I have a buddy with the bully dog. It seems to come on stronger, but is not smooth power, very peaky. I love the safety features of my juice and how smooth it is. Never had any problems or codes with the juice. My buddies bully dog has given him a couple of problems. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Turbo, injectors, stacked boxes, cp-3, o-ringed head, and twin turbos at some point. Oh yeah, sold the water/meth but might try nitrous.
I never had a Bullydog product so I can't comment on them, but I love my Juice! Great features, lots of power, can turn off all safeties if need be. Stacks real nice with a good pressure box, and is AWESOME with the Diablo Predator.
That it can be used on a truck with more than intake, exhaust, and one box like you first indicated. There are lots of people that seem to think that it's a "beginner" box and that nobody who's serious about making a lot of power should run one. I'm just trying to substantiate the fact that it can be used in high horsepower applications just like Bullydog, Smarty, TST, etc.
On my brother's 03 we have used the BDTD and the Juice w/Attitude. The Bully dog is very old school/basic - just throw a bunch of fuel at it and make more power - grunt grunt ruh! Talk about excessive black smoke and waste of fuel! The Juice makes plenty of power and gets better fuel mileage, is much smoother in power application, and doesn't waste fuel right out the exhaust.

If I were you I'd pick up a BDTD from the classifieds on this site, they're cheap and if you decide you don't like it you can sell it and try something else.
I have a BDTD and I love it. Only tried 'extreme', I know Crazy Larry would fry my clutch in no time.
I like the on the fly adjustability, I ran it on 'performance' towning our trailer, went up some very long steep hills, never had to take it out of 6th the whole time.
Get some gauges though to keep an eye on things, a boost foller helps too.
BDTD now has new extra features, like being able to adjust for tire size, hi idle, fogs with highs, PTO idle etc etc, NOT old school at all. Buddy Kunz a member here is one of their main programmers, good guy to know...
