Bully Dog programmer

Is anyone using the Bullydog power pup programmer on a 04.5 diesel, if so I am looking for feedback on your results with it, in all three settings, fuel mileage, noticable power gains ect. any info will be helpful.

The problems that I have been having is I need a bigger turbo and a heavier clutch.

I really like the extreme setting but in 5th and 6th the stock clutch slips if I am at a low rpm.

Even with the intake and exhaust mods the egts rocket right up there. But then again the SPA guages are real sensitive. I can get 1700* for a micro second. I can be at 1700* and a second later be at 950*.

More bang for the buck than anything else.

What about the Tow download? I have yet to read a comment about it.

How does it compare to the EZ level 4?

I have the pup on my 2005. I am tickled with it. The power is awesome! I have only tried the extreme and performance mode. The extreme mode is abit much for my driving style, i could only get to 1350 degrees going from 60 mph to 100mph wot on the extreme setting. But still abit to much power and smoke for my liking. I have not been able to break 1300 on the performance setting. This is with out any weight and 40 degree temps. I had a 90 horsepower pressure box on before, and the pup on 90 makes much more usable power, esp. down low. The 90 horse pressure box really didnt enhance the power until you broke 2000 rpm. My fuel milage seems to be the same although the overhead readout is much more accurate. Before it was off by 3mpg. Now its within 1/2 mpg. So far i am **itting in tall cotton!
