Bully Dog combo worth it?

I can pick up a combo with the Bully Dog and Outlook for $400 for my 2006. Was really looking to get a new set of wheels, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't bite while I can. Should I get it or skip it, get the wheels, and go with smarty later instead? Is smarty better?

Isn't the PMT the same programing though with just a combined unit? It looks big for the dash and it's nearly a grand. I think for that kinda money there must be better stacked combos out there. I thought $400 sounded good.

Lemme shoot you a picture of it mounted with the custom pillar. It is the same programming but with color screen, touchscreen coming, NOS and methane controls coming. Thing I like is that there is almost no limit to what can be added on the thing. Pic coming in a sec.

that's cool fer sure, but I'm not really looking for all that. I already have GPS touchscreen, MP3 player ect. Color is nice for sure but then again there's a $400+ price difference too. It's just apples and oranges I think. I really think it's just a question of if this is a decent buy (used) or if smarty at full price is better. Seems like either one will eat a stock tranny.

Hahaha...big as a laptop. That's funny...although I can't say the "big" thought didn't cross my mind. I thought the Commander was too big shess.

Does the Bully Dog downloader have the same programming as the PMT?
I thought I read it did.

Had the Outlook before I bought the Edge/Attitude. I found the Outlook kinda difficult to use while driving down the road. To "enter" a command, you have to push the little joystick straight in. If it moves just a hair in any direction, it will switch screens and not enter anything. At least that was my experience.

yeah prolly true. I could see the joystick being hard to use. I like the attitude looks the best, but it doesn't control like the commander does really and I don't think edge has the product following like smarty bully dog, or quad. I wish there was more news on that trinity programmer/monitor coming out. How could they figure that only making it for cheby and furd was a good idea? Doesn't seem right.

Not that it matters as we are sort of talking apples and oranges but, there is a newer sexier package the Commander will be coming in very shortly!!!

Same display, new buttons and a sexier, smoother look to it.
