I have a smarty. It works wonders on my truck. I have an 07. I dont know how the bully dogs do but I have heard alot of problems that they have caused. Codes and such. And as far as the dealer finding it if you go with the bully dog they will find it in no time flate. If your worried about the dealer your better of going with the smarty because it leaves no foot print when returned to stock. The only down fall of the smarty is that it in not adjustable on the fly. But it only takes a few minutes to load up more or less power. Just do a search on smarty and do a search on triple dog. Im very happy with smarty just my clutch isnt happy with me.

The diablosport predators are not out for 05-06's yet. My dad had one on his 04 ford and it was great. The dealership where he bought his truck sold it him. He didn't have one bit of trouble with it.

They just came out. I know a guy who works for Diablosport. I would have one but the option to change tire size is not available yet.

They don't show them on their website yet. How much are they? I think I might wait a while to see if they have any problems. I don't want to be a guinea pig.

How come these are so cheap compared to BD, Smary etc, both for under $400?

Always remember. If your going to play your going to pay. Good luck with what ever you decide.

thought about putting on gauges for a while and let them look all they want...then LATER do an upgrade. LOL If I did gauges now and maybe air cleaner kit but nothing else...then later in summer after a few visits to some other things........they might not care.........or NOT LOL

Wink

I put gauges on just so I know what's going on, especially being my first diesel, and being somewhat mechanical I like to know as much as possible.

I put a Nelson muffler on to open up the exhaust and was only planning on doing the intake for now...

...

... but if you watch the classifieds section there's a lotta good deals on chips, programmers etc, and the BD gives you the ability to change a few cool things...

I wonder if anyone who visits this site regularly makes it to the end of their warranty without doing any mods!?

(I doubt it!)

I have a bdtd on an 06 and love it. It has great options and works on all the big 3 which I would never use...anyway the option for tire size doesnt work on Dodge because of the speedo going through the abs or something like that...but other than that I think its wonderful.....but as said early research it and buy whats best for you. I had the Diablosprt on my 05 and liked it but it didnt have near the power as my BDTD but I also had a G-56. Just my .02.
