I need some help and i have a few questions. I am running a few mods, smarty S04, airaid intake, and a strait pipe. before i do anymore i want to bulletproof my engine, then the trany. I was thinkin at least headstuds and gages but i dont know what else. I am about to be a freshmen in college on a baseball schollarship so time and money are limited therefore this will be a slow prosess but i would like to know what i should be saving for. I would also like to know what companies are good to go with and about how much everything will cost me.

Also wondering. I bought my smarty S04 for my previous truck (04.5) and when i bought it i never saw the S06 but the S04 is workin with my 06 and i thought it was only for the 03-05 trucks? Any explanation? should i not be runnin it? would there be a difference in power if i got an S06?

My last question is at 56000mi is it to late to start runnin synthetic oil? and is there anything i should be replaceing at around 60000mi especialy since im runnin on 35s?

 

Id Invest in guages Trans boost pyro to start, then save up for a Transmission, then worry about the head studs.

You sure its an S04?Look at the white sticker on the back of the Smarty.It should start out S04(or 6)xxxxxxxxxxx.

 

on the back it says smarty S04 in red (towards the top at the center then on the bottom right there is a white sticker that says S06AQ07000905. so i dont really know but when i bought it i was buyin it it said S04 for models 03-06 and it said S06 for 07 models coming soon.

You have an S06.I looked at my friends S06 and it has the S04 in red letters n the back.

 

Mine is exactly the same. The serial number is S06 but the quick guide on the back of the smarty itself says S04. I emailed Marco to clarify and he said to go by the serial number making it an S06.
