Buddy Kunz Or Anyone With Bullydog Please Help Asap!!

Put my buddies triple dog from his 06 dodge on my 03 dodge. Now my truck won't crank - don't think it was done right. I'm stuck in town trying to get home. Recovery did not work. Anyone who can help fix this please call 912-531-5263 (brian) immediately

I've seen this alot, I've actully changed some ecm's over it! Heard plenty of opinions on the situation but usualy the ecm is eaither re flashed or a new one installed. Theres a bunch around here who constantly have problems with them, I've fixed 6 or so just unhooking the batteries and waiting 30 min, but thats not a grntd. fix!

Recovery program didn't work?! Oh no. How did it NOT work??? If it went into Recovery, something interrupted the download and it knows it messed up.

If you had a different brand programer I could get you going over an email...sorry I know thats not what you wanted to hear

Stupid question. Will an 06 triple dog even work on an 03? Could that be the problem?

tried to unplug battery - trying again now. Recovery mode will not work - tried several times. the VIN from the 06 is still on dowloader when the recovery mode comes up. It will turn over just won't start. yes this is an 03-06 triple dog but it could be the problem.

If the vin is still there then it is still VIN locked and wasnt returned to stock. If you just selected the stock power setting, thats not completly returned to stock. Is that what you did, or did you completely set the 06 back to stock, it would have asked if you wanted to erase the bully dog program

in that case, i really dont know what else to do. Its something wrong in the programmer. I would only suggest to try to plug it back into the 06 and see if you could try to reset it again. If it still shows the 06 vin # it means its still vin locked. Sorry i cant really help you out anymore than that
