Which Booster Fuel pump??? for '05
Which Booster Fuel pump??? for '05
Hey guys,
I need to get a booster fuel pump for my '05. From what I understand, if I put a booster pump inline and leave my lift pump in the tank, even if it fails, the booster should be able to pull fuel through it, and feed the CP3 w/o problems. I'm just wondering what you guys are doing with '05s as far as the fuel pump upgrade goes?
Here is what I have:
Edge Hot Juice w/attitude
MP-8 Ramifier
tripple disk TC, VB, and looking for flexplate
and mods in sig.
I don't plan on using the full chip power of course until a turbo upgrade and perhaps a few more things, but, I want to do the fuel pump only once.
Thanks a lot guys,
Igor.

I agree with dropping the tank and adding a new pickup tube, as well as doing the TDR vent mod and taking care of the two "gasser" hose barbs. As for which aftermarket lift pump to use, the FASS-2 is a fine unit, with the Walbro GSL392 also being an affordable alternative.
