Boost #'s on stock vs. w/ chip
I've got an 03 HO 6-spd and was wondering what the boost #'s are stock and what I have now w/ the EZ Edge chip and the boost elbow. Am I in danger of burning up the turbo w/ the boost elbow pulling 10k lbs? I'm running the chip at +70hp 220 ftlbs empty and then +40 180 ftlbs when pulling. I need gauges too if anyone has any suggestions. I'm looking at the isspro gauges.
Raptor,
Autometer makes a two gauge 2 1/16 inch gauge pod that mounts to the top of the steering column, obscures very little of the factory instrument cluster, I use it and think it's great. It's black and is paintable. With the 6 speed get a boost gauge and pyrometer, I believe isspro also has gauges that fit into the holes. If you are looking at more gauges you can get a Pro Pod, 1 to 4 gagues at www.propods.com, that will replace the A-pillar between the driver's door and the windshield; drawback is you lose the grab handle on the 2 to 4 gauge configurations, according to Pro Pods
Autometer steering pod for dual gauges and single pod A-pillar gives you three gagues and keep the grab handle. I am looking at adding one more gauge and this is the configuration I'm going to use.
