Boost Fooler?

Boost Fooler?

can anybody tell me what a boost fooler does? i use the edge w/at. if im on 1,2,or 3 my boost goes up to and past 38. i set it at 35 cause i dont know what a safe boost is. i see people talk about the fooler, but dont know what it is used for.

It is used to build more boost without throwing codes or defueling the motor, I would stay where you are at with the stock turbo...38psi is plenty.

a boost fooler lies to the ecm, which wants to limit boost to around 32 psi, or it will set a CEL(check engine light) and code.
the boost fooler, just says its only at 25psi, so the fueling continues. gives you about 7 psi more than stock. provides a bit more power, and the added airflow lowers egt's a tad.
for $70 it is pretty good.
doesnt the edge boost fool? dont have much experience with them, but the quad modules all do.

Edge does boost fooling.....that why you are hitting 38psi. Stock is 32psi.
