boost elbow clamp removal

Maybe I'm an idiot, or I was really tired last night, but I couldn't figure out how to get the clamp off of the hose between the waste gate and the boost elbow. I have an adjustable one to put in, and the instructions say the clamp is removable, but it looks like it is crimped on and I have to break it to get it off. How do you remove the clamp without breaking it?

If its the style I'm thinking of , there are special pliers that grab 2 edges & pull together in middle , I got to a point , after buying a couple different style of pliers .
On the flat part , just past the crimp , where the end overlaps , a series of holes , this is where the clamp grips itself for the crimp , put a small straight / regular screw driver under , to pry away from grips underneath , to put back on , you need to use a small needle nose plies to straighten out the crimp from a C shape to a U shape , making sure to have the catches at an angle that will catch , put back together as snug as possible , then pinch the C to a U shape till tight .

I was able to remove the hose with the crimp still in place. Slowly pull and twist at the same time should do it.
