Guys i've heard of these ricers with boost controllers, just wandering if any of you have been using these. I would like to put one on i just don't know which one to buy.

05 , to work properly the boost controller must be wired into the neon under body lights. You have a single turbo and a waste gate that is electrically controlled, I'm sure someone one here has some ideas on controlling it with an electronic boost control other than letting the ecm do it. Most of us realize the stock turbo is only safe to about 32psi although 40 spikes are common. The wastegate can be controlled manually by a setup I think from TST to operate in this range. ks

 

A lot of the performance boxes do boost fooling. TST, Edge Juice and Quad XZillaraider are three that I have tried and know for sure. With stock turbo the Quad Race box would spike boost to 44psi, the Edge Juice would spike to 42psi.

I have replaced the stock turbo with II SPS66, for this there is a jumper to plug into stock solenoid control wiring. The II SPS66 is manually wastegated and you do need a box that will do boost fooling to run it or you will get High Boost codes and go to limp mode.
