today i installed my adjustable boost elbow and the screw is set all the way in. im running my smarty on software #3 and i still can not boost over 26psi. do i need to purchase a boost fooler in order to get more boost? i was under the impression the boost elbow was that piece holding me back from more boost. please advise and help.

 

I think the Smarty does Boost Fooling. I wouldn't be concerned until you get a good Gauge on there, the you should see well over 30psi...

 

im going to ship the gauge back to autometer this week.

 

And I believe you have to have a load on the truck to make the boost come up further. My Smarty on #2 will only get to 24lbs boost/900EGT but it is kicking me in the pants. This summer I will report back and advise when we start pulling the 5th here in the Rockies

 

On your 07 that means you have an issue, probably a bad gauge. You should hit 32+ easily.
