Can i run a phat shaft 62 with out having to stud my motor? or will it make to much boost for my stock studs?

 

depends where the wastegate is set. if you run around 40 psi you should be ok. i run the silver bullet but im not studded yet so my wastgate is set to 38 psi and i havent had a problem yet

 

As long as you don't go crazy with nitrous or such then the stock head bolts and gasket should be fine for you. Wastegate 45psi or lower and you should be fine. I ran 55psi on my SPS66 for over a year at the track triple stacked before I added studs.
